Lawn & Garden Equipment Battery – FAQ

What battery cell models does Junda recommend for lawn and garden applications?

For high-drain outdoor power tools, we recommend the following cells:

  • Molicel: 18650P26A, 18650P28A, 21700P42A, 21700P45A

  • Sunpower: 25R

These cells are chosen for their high current output, thermal stability, and long cycle life.

Yes. When lithium batteries are left unused for six months or more, they may self-discharge to a critical level, potentially causing permanent damage or failure to recharge.

Solution:
We strongly recommend integrating a Smart BMS (Battery Management System). This system includes:

  • LED indicator to monitor voltage and capacity

  • Low-voltage warning at 20%

  • Automatic deep sleep mode to prevent over-discharge

  • Easy reactivation by standard charging when needed

Our battery packs are designed to withstand harsh outdoor use:

  • Durable enclosures resist shock, moisture, and debris

  • Reinforced nickel sheets provide cell connection stability

  • Built to endure vibration and impact from daily landscaping work

Lithium battery pack production process from cell selection to final testing

We follow a step-by-step engineering and manufacturing process, including:

  1. Cell selection based on load requirements

  2. BMS design

  3. Structural modeling (CAD/3D)

  4. Prototyping & validation

  5. Functional testing

  6. Mass production

For standard BMS packs, recharge at least every 3 months to maintain baseline voltage.
With Smart BMS packs, monitor charge status via the LED display and recharge before the battery drops below 20%.
